Terms of Service
Last Updated: 2/27/2026
1. Introduction
Welcome to McManhunt. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the McManhunt website (https://mcmanhunt.com), the Minecraft game server network accessible at play.mcmanhunt.com, the McManhunt Discord community, the McManhunt Store, and any related services, features, or integrations (collectively, the “Services”).
McManhunt is operated from Canada. By accessing or using any of our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our Services.
Please also review our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and handle your information.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to use our Services. By using our Services, you represent and warrant that you are at least 13 years old.
If you are between the ages of 13 and 18 (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction), you may only use the Services with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms on your behalf. The parent or legal guardian is responsible for the minor’s activity on our Services.
We reserve the right to terminate access for any user we reasonably believe does not meet this age requirement.
3. Accounts and Access
3.1 Minecraft Server Access
To access our game server, you must own a legitimate, licensed copy of Minecraft: Java Edition and connect using a valid Mojang/Microsoft-authenticated account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Minecraft account. We are not responsible for any unauthorized access to your account.
3.2 Website and Integrations
Certain features of our Services may require you to create an account or authenticate through a third-party service (such as Google/YouTube). You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account or authentication session.
3.3 One Account Per Player
You may only use one primary account on the McManhunt server unless explicitly authorized by staff (e.g., for testing purposes). The use of alternate accounts (“alts”) to evade bans, manipulate queues, or gain unfair advantages is prohibited and may result in punishment across all associated accounts.
4. Server Rules and Code of Conduct
By using our Services, you agree to abide by our community rules as posted in our Discord server, on our website, and/or displayed in-game. These rules may be updated from time to time at our discretion.
In general, you agree not to:
- Cheat or exploit: Use hacked clients, unauthorized modifications, exploits, bugs, or any form of unfair advantage. This includes but is not limited to: fly hacks, kill aura, speed hacks, X-ray, auto-clickers (beyond acceptable CPS thresholds), and any client modifications not explicitly approved.
- Harass or abuse others: Engage in bullying, threats, hate speech, discrimination, doxxing, or any form of targeted harassment against players or staff.
- Spam or disrupt: Flood chat, advertise other servers or services, or intentionally disrupt gameplay for others.
- Impersonate: Pretend to be a staff member, another player, or any other individual or entity.
- Share inappropriate content: Post, share, or display offensive, explicit, illegal, or otherwise inappropriate content through any of our Services, including in-game chat, signs, builds, player tags, skins, or capes.
- Evade punishments: Use alternate accounts or any other means to circumvent mutes, bans, or other moderation actions.
- Engage in fraud: Initiate chargebacks, use stolen payment methods, or engage in any form of fraudulent activity related to our store or Services.
Violations may result in warnings, mutes, kicks, temporary bans, or permanent bans at the discretion of our moderation team. Decisions made by Senior Moderators, Supervisors, and Administrators are final unless successfully appealed.
5. Moderation and Enforcement
5.1 Staff Authority
Our staff team — including Trial Moderators, Moderators, Senior Moderators, Supervisors, and Administrators — are authorized to enforce these Terms and server rules. Staff decisions regarding punishments are made in good faith and based on available evidence, including but not limited to chat logs, game logs, player reports, and staff observations.
5.2 Punishments
Punishments may include, but are not limited to:
- Verbal or written warnings
- Temporary or permanent mutes
- Kicks
- Temporary bans
- Permanent bans (including IP bans where applicable)
Punishment severity is determined by the nature and frequency of the violation. Repeated or severe offenses will result in escalated action.
5.3 Ban Appeals
If you have been banned and wish to appeal, you may submit a ban appeal through the designated process on our website at https://mcmanhunt.com or via the method specified at the time of your ban. Submitting an appeal does not guarantee that your ban will be lifted. Appeals are reviewed by staff and decisions are communicated to the appellant.
5.4 Chat Filtering
We employ automated chat filtering systems to help maintain a safe and welcoming environment. These filters are regularly reviewed and updated based on community feedback and staff input. Attempting to bypass chat filters is a violation of these Terms.
5.5 Inappropriate Tags and Cosmetics
Players found using inappropriate in-game tags, skins, capes, or other cosmetic features may be warned and given a reasonable period to comply. In cases of severely offensive content, immediate action (including kicks or bans) may be taken without prior warning.
6. Purchases and Store
6.1 Store Operator
The McManhunt Store is operated through Tebex Limited (https://www.tebex.io). All purchases are processed by Tebex and are subject to the Tebex Terms of Service and Tebex Privacy Policy in addition to these Terms.
6.2 Virtual Goods
All items available for purchase through our store — including but not limited to ranks, perks, cosmetics, and other virtual goods — are digital items for use within our Services. They have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged, transferred, or refunded except as described below.
6.3 Pricing and Availability
All prices are listed in the currency displayed on the store page. We reserve the right to change prices, modify, or discontinue any store item at any time without prior notice.
6.4 Refund Policy
All purchases are generally considered final. Refund requests may be considered on a case-by-case basis by contacting network@mcmanhunt.com. Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting us may result in an immediate and permanent ban from all Services.
6.5 Delivery
Virtual goods are typically delivered automatically upon payment confirmation. If you do not receive your purchase within a reasonable timeframe, please contact us at network@mcmanhunt.com for assistance.
6.6 No Guarantees of Permanent Availability
We do not guarantee that our server, game modes, or any specific features will remain available indefinitely. Purchased items are provided on an “as available” basis for the duration that the relevant Services are operational. No refunds will be issued due to server shutdowns, game mode changes, or feature modifications unless required by applicable law.
7. YouTube API Integration
7.1 Streaming Link Feature
Our Services include an optional streaming integration feature that uses YouTube API Services. By choosing to link your YouTube account, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service and acknowledge the Google Privacy Policy.
7.2 Scope of Access
When you authenticate via Google OAuth, we request access only to the data necessary to provide the streaming link feature (such as your channel ID, stream status, and basic profile information). We do not access, modify, or delete your YouTube content without your explicit action.
7.3 Revoking Access
You may revoke McManhunt’s access to your YouTube/Google data at any time by:
- Unlinking your account through our Services, or
- Visiting your Google Account Permissions page and removing the McManhunt application.
Upon revocation, we will delete stored YouTube-specific data associated with your account within a reasonable timeframe.
7.4 Compliance
Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
9. Intellectual Property
9.1 McManhunt Content
All content, branding, graphics, logos, designs, game modes, and original features created by or for McManhunt are the intellectual property of McManhunt and its respective creators. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content without explicit written permission.
9.2 User Content
By submitting content to our Services (such as chat messages, builds, or other in-game creations), you grant McManhunt a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute that content in connection with operating and promoting our Services (for example, in screenshots, promotional materials, or social media posts).
9.3 Minecraft
Minecraft is a trademark of Mojang AB / Microsoft Corporation. McManhunt is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Mojang AB or Microsoft Corporation.
10. Disclaimers
10.1 “As Is” Basis
Our Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
10.2 No Uptime Guarantee
We do not guarantee that our Services will be available at all times. Our server, website, and related services may experience downtime for maintenance, updates, technical issues, or other reasons. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned maintenance through our Discord server when possible.
10.3 Third-Party Services
We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of third-party services, including but not limited to Mojang/Microsoft, Tebex, Google/YouTube, Discord, and Hetzner. Your use of third-party services is subject to their respective terms and policies.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, McManhunt and its owners, staff, administrators, moderators, and contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
- Loss of data, progress, or in-game items
- Inability to access the Services
- Unauthorized access to your account
- Actions of other users or third parties
- Any other matter relating to the Services
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from or related to the Services shall not exceed the amount you have paid to McManhunt (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless McManhunt, its owners, staff, and contributors from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to:
- Your use of our Services
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any third-party rights
- Any content you submit through our Services
13. Termination
13.1 By You
You may stop using our Services at any time. If you wish to have your data deleted, please contact us at network@mcmanhunt.com.
13.2 By Us
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to any or all of our Services at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Reasons for termination may include, but are not limited to, violations of these Terms, disruptive behavior, fraudulent activity, or extended inactivity.
13.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your right to access and use the Services ceases immediately. Any purchased virtual goods associated with a terminated account may be forfeited. We are under no obligation to provide refunds for purchased items in the event of termination for cause (i.e., violation of these Terms).
Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including but not limited to: Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Governing Law.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify users through our Discord server, website, or other reasonable means. The “Last Updated” date at the top of this page will be revised accordingly.
Your continued use of the Services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Services.
15. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Canada and the applicable province in which McManhunt operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached, the dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Canada.
16. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.
17. Community & Discord Rules
These rules apply to our Discord server, in-game chat, voice channels, profile pictures, usernames, and all public interactions across the McManhunt network. Violating Discord’s Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, or Partnership Conducts is strictly forbidden and may result in immediate action.
Common sense applies — rules not explicitly listed below do not exempt you from punishment. We reserve the right to remove any user and amend these rules without prior notice.
17.1 Be Respectful
Hate speech, discrimination, bigotry, racism, homophobia, sexism, toxicity, profanity, and derogatory remarks are not tolerated. Treat everyone with kindness.
17.2 Keep Conversations PG-13
Keep all content appropriate for ages 13+. No adult, violent, or harmful content. Mild swearing is tolerated but may still be punished if abusive.
17.3 English Only & Channel Relevance
Communicate in English and keep content relevant to each channel. Move off-topic discussion to the appropriate channel.
17.4 No Advertising, Self-Promotion, or Begging
No advertisements or self-promotion via DM or in the server. Begging for accounts, Nitro, ranks, gems, or exclusive content is prohibited — and so is providing or selling such items. Keep voice channels SFW and do not stream competing Manhunt servers.
17.5 No Malicious Content, Defamation, or Spam
No spam (emoji, messages, media, or reactions), NSFW, gore, scams, phishing, IP loggers, keyloggers, or malicious links. Spreading rumors, defamation, or false accusations — publicly or via DM — is forbidden.
17.6 Alternate Accounts
Alt accounts are permitted. Unapproved bots and alts created to harm the server, evade moderation, or raid are strictly prohibited and violate Discord’s Terms of Service.
17.7 No Impersonation
Do not impersonate other members or staff, even as a joke.
17.8 No Mini-Modding
Do not threaten moderation action yourself. Report rule violations through the appropriate ticket system.
17.9 Privacy
Do not extract or share the private information of any individual, even with their consent. Protect your own privacy. DMs, tickets, and similar messages are included under this rule.
17.10 Respect Staff
Treat all staff members with courtesy. Report staff misconduct by opening a staff report ticket — action will be taken promptly.

18. Event & Challenge Rules
All rules listed above for Discord and Minecraft apply to events and challenges. If you have any questions or concerns, please speak with a member of staff.
18.1 Splitting the Prize
Offering to split the prize is only allowed when the event host explicitly permits it. Never accept a split otherwise.
18.2 Follow Host Instructions
Participants must follow the event host’s rules and instructions. Failure to comply may result in action against you. Do not encourage others to break the rules either.
18.3 No Gameplay Manipulation
Rigging event outcomes by manipulating gameplay is prohibited. This includes unfair or unwanted modifications, teaming, and any similar behavior.
18.4 Challenge Mods
Minimaps, health indicators, and any mods that give a distinct advantage over players not using them are not allowed during challenges.
18.5 Recording
At least one player on your team must record the entire challenge from start to finish. The number of perspectives required will be specified per challenge.
18.6 Cheating & Falsifying Runs
Cheating or falsifying runs results in permanent removal from future challenges. This includes hacks or cheats of any kind (not allowed anywhere on the network, even in private games), X-raying, and bug abuse such as seeing through walls by any method, including F3+A.
18.7 Submission Posting
When submitting, tag (@) every teammate you completed the run with. For challenges with more than two participants, include the usernames of all players involved.
18.8 Deadline
No submissions will be accepted after the challenge timer expires, unless the host states otherwise.
18.9 Team Members
Team size will be specified per announcement. You are allowed to use an alt account and go solo.
18.10 Prize
The prize is always awarded to the winner of each challenge. If the prize is two rank upgrades and the winner goes solo (with an alt), they still receive both rank upgrades.
19. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other policies referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and McManhunt with respect to your use of the Services and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals.
