MCManhunt Rules
Welcome to the Minecraft Manhunt Network. We highly suggest reading all the rules before interacting with the community, to ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience on our network. If any rule is not explicitly stated below, you are not exempt from punishment — please use common sense. We retain the right to remove any individual from our network and to amend the rules without prior notice. If you have questions or bugs to report, open a support ticket so staff can assist ASAP.
Section 1
Community (Discord) Rules
Violating any Discord Guidelines — including their Terms of Service, Partnership Conduct & Community Guidelines — is strictly forbidden, and immediate action may be taken. All Discord rules/guidelines apply to profile pictures, usernames, text channels, voice channels, and members.
Be Respectful
We do not tolerate or condone any form of hate speech or discrimination: this includes but is not limited to bigotry, racism, homophobia, toxicity, sexism, profanity, and derogatory remarks. We all have different views, but we are all human and should treat each other with kindness.
Keep conversations PG-13
Keep chats appropriate for all ages 13+. No content endangering others, violence, or harmful media. Avoid any mention of adult content. Mild swearing is allowed, but rule-violating messages are still punishable.
English Only & Use of Channels
Use English to interact with others. Keep posts in relevant channels; move off-topic conversation to the appropriate channel.
Begging / Advertising / Self-Promotion
Advertising or self-promotion of any kind (via DMs or the server) is not allowed. Only MCMH-related content may be posted in the media channel; certain Minecraft clips with no self-promo intent may be allowed. Do not beg for Minecraft accounts, Nitro/server ranks, gems, or exclusive content — and do not provide or sell such items either (including Nitro). Keep voice channels SFW; do not use them to play/stream competitor Manhunt servers (e.g. Tumbleweed, CrazyManhunt). Servers with no similar game modes are fine.
Malicious Content, Defamation/Rumors & Spam
Spam (emojis, repetitive messages/media, reactions) is prohibited. Do not send malicious links, NSFW content, or gore — including IP/key loggers and scams, or anything meant to harm a person’s account, property, or rights. Spreading rumors, defaming, or making false accusations (public or DM) is forbidden, as are attempts to damage someone’s reputation. Coordinating harassment campaigns (including via DMs) is bannable.
Alternate Accounts
Alternative accounts are permitted, but unapproved bots/alts made to harm the server’s reputation, harm others, or bypass moderation are not allowed. Using alts to raid is against ToS.
Impersonation
Impersonating another member, especially staff, is forbidden — even as a joke.
Mini-Modding
Do not get involved when others break rules or threaten moderation action yourself. Report issues through the appropriate systems.
Privacy
No one may extract private information about anyone (even with consent). Protect your privacy and others’. DMs, ticket messages, and similar are included.
Respect Staff Members
Treat all staff with courtesy and respect. Report any staff misconduct via a staff report ticket; immediate action will be taken.
Section 2
In-Game Rules
Scamming & Impersonation
Scamming/virtual theft is bannable, as is any money gambling. Trying to lag out, damage, or threaten to damage the server results in a PERMANENT IP-BAN. Do not imitate/impersonate staff, even as a joke (e.g. [OWNER]/[MODERATOR] in your name).
Privacy
Do not extract personal information (names, age, address, etc.) or disclose private conversations without consent. Violations result in warnings and/or mutes.
Language
Keep chats appropriate for all ages. No death wishes/threats, bigotry, discrimination, slurs, hate speech, or NSFW/offensive content. Mild swearing may still be punished. Do not bypass chat filters; report filter bugs via a support ticket. Abusing voice chat (soundboards, excessive loudness, etc.) is punishable.
Cosmetics / Skins / Capes
Inappropriate, offensive, or hateful skins/capes/usernames (racism, nudity, NSFW) are punishable.
Misinformation
No spreading of misinformation. Slander to damage someone’s reputation is bannable. Report suspicious DMs claiming unofficial announcements via a support ticket.
Malicious Content & Posting
No spam or repetitive messages. No malicious links, IP/key loggers, scams, or content meant to harm a person’s property or rights.
Advertising
Unauthorized advertising of any kind (including DMs) is not allowed — including server IPs and Discord links in chat, and false advertising about in-game incentives. Results in a network ban.
Alternative Accounts
Unapproved bots/alts intended to harm the server’s reputation, harm others’ gameplay, or bypass moderation (e.g. bypassing bans/mutes) are not permitted and result in immediate action.
Modifications & Exploits
No unauthorized mods, cheats, or programs that give an unfair advantage. Any attempt to gain an unfair advantage, manipulate gameplay, or disrupt server stability has severe consequences. Bugs/exploits that give an advantage (e.g. ghost blocks) are punishable.
Combat Logging & Targeting
Combat logging (logging out or killing yourself mid-fight to avoid a kill, including /spawn in lobbies) is prohibited. Deliberately targeting players to ruin their experience is also prohibited.
Usage of Commands
Do not excessively abuse /report or /rp. Intentionally false reports are punishable.
Section 3
Event & Challenge Rules
All Discord and Minecraft rules apply. Questions or concerns? Speak with a staff member.

Split Prize
Offering to split the prize is only allowed if the event host permits it. Never accept a split otherwise.
Follow Instructions
Participants must follow the event host’s rules and instructions; non-compliance may result in action. Do not encourage others to break rules.
Manipulating Gameplay
Rigging any outcome by manipulating event gameplay (unfair mods, teaming, etc.) is not allowed.
Challenge Information
Minimaps, health indicators, and other advantage-giving mods are not allowed.
Recording
At least one player per team must record the entire challenge start to finish (required player count specified per challenge).
Cheating / Falsifying
Cheating or falsifying runs results in permanent removal from future challenges. Includes most cheats/hacks (banned network-wide, even in “private” games), X-raying, and bug abuse (e.g. seeing through walls, F3+A).
Submission Posting
When posting a submission, mention/@ everyone you completed the run with (include all usernames for multi-player challenges).
Deadline
No submissions accepted after the challenge timer ends, unless the host states otherwise.
Team Members
Team size is specified per announcement; you may use an alt and go solo.
Prize Information
The prize always goes to the winner of each challenge. If a “solo” winner (playing with an alt) wins e.g. 2 rank upgrades, they receive 2 rank upgrades.
