🎮 Update v3.1.9a
A follow-up to v3.1.9, a brand new twist, server and quality-of-life improvements, and another round of bug fixes.
🎮 New Twist: Freeze Tag — Amethyst
➥ Freeze Tag (Hitman) — Hitmen freeze survivors with a punch instead of killing them. A frozen survivor is stuck until an unfrozen teammate stands next to them and sneaks to thaw them ➥ Hitmen win when every survivor is frozen at once, survivors win if anyone is still free when time runs out ➥ Requires Amethyst rank to enable, incompatible with SwapHunt
🎯 New Settings
➥ Manhunt - new Protect Blaze Spawners party setting, on by default, so hunters can’t grief the fortress spawner and soft-lock the run
🚀 Improvements
➥ NA servers - faster, more reliable world loading ➥ Newer Minecraft versions - the latest clients can now connect through the proxy ➥ Party joins - catch-up gear now scales with how far the game has already progressed, so joining late isn’t hopeless ➥ Leaver penalties - thresholds retuned so the system actually catches repeat quitters instead of almost never firing
🐛 Bug Fixes
- ✅ Server lag - a single chat message could pin a CPU core and tank TPS for everyone on that server, this is fixed
- ✅ World border - you can no longer boat through the border and survive outside it to pick people off
- ✅ Map seeds - the same map no longer comes up twice in a row
- ✅ Store - buying multiple packs at once now correctly applies all of them
- ✅ Bundles - expired bundles can no longer be purchased
- ✅ Death Swap - fall damage no longer carries through a swap or a boat clutch
- ✅ Casual solo - the lobby no longer gets stuck waiting to start
