How to Join the Manhunt Server (Step by Step)
- Launch Minecraft Java Edition 1.21 or newer. Newer versions are supported too (via ViaVersion), so you don’t need to downgrade from the latest update.
- Click Multiplayer → Add Server.
- Enter the server address:
mcmanhunt.com. Name it whatever you like. - Click Done, then join the server. You’ll spawn in the lobby.
- Open the game selector in your hotbar and pick Manhunt (or any other mode).
- Queue up. As soon as enough players are in, the match starts: teams assigned, compasses handed out, chase on.

Version Requirements
- Java Edition 1.21 or newer: required. Clients on the newest releases connect fine thanks to ViaVersion support, so you can stay fully updated.
- Bedrock Edition (consoles, phones, Windows via the Microsoft Store) is not supported yet. Manhunt on MCManhunt is Java-only for now; Bedrock support is planned.
- A normal Minecraft Java account is all you need, no whitelist and no application.
Regional IPs for Lower Ping
The main address mcmanhunt.com automatically routes you to a good region, but if you want to force a specific one:

Both regions run the full set of game modes. If you and your friends are on different continents, just agree on one regional address so everyone lands on the same side of the network with a fair ping split.
How to Play With Friends
Everyone joins the same IP (mcmanhunt.com), then group up with the party system:
- One player runs
/party invite <username>for each friend. - Friends accept the invite in chat.
- The party leader queues for Manhunt. The whole party enters the same match together.
